Seeking Leaders To Create Change
Women In Comedy's mission is to empower, connect, and advocate for women and girls seeking paid careers in comedy. We know women make up more than 50% of the population - so it's high time we saw that same parity in writer's rooms, late night tv, stand up clubs, commercial comedy films, and more.
If you are resourceful, organized, have expert event planning skills, and are a strong leader and willing to commit to a year of volunteering 10 hrs per week with us, it will be a year you'll never forget!
We are seeking chapter presidents to launch Women In Comedy chapters all over the world. Join us in planning and putting on 2 key events with our sister cities each year, and let's increase our network of comedy sisters to be the change we want to see in the (comedy) world. Everything we do here is 100% volunteer efforts and donations on a project to project basis.
